3. How to Request a Cancellation and Refund

To cancel your event registration and request a refund:

For programs with multiple sessions (e.g., Public Speaking Club series, ongoing Book Club membership):
- Refunds are prorated based on remaining sessions
- You must cancel before the next scheduled session
- Already-attended sessions are non-refundable
- Standard cancellation timeline applies to remaining sessions
4.2 Special Events and Workshops
Some premium events (Investigation Nights with professional actors, exclusive Tasting Evenings) may have different refund terms due to advance commitments. Special terms will be clearly communicated during booking.

For group bookings (3+ people):
- Partial cancellations are permitted (reducing number of attendees)
- Full group cancellations follow the standard refund policy

5. Transferring Your Booking
Alternative to Cancellation: Instead of canceling, you may transfer your booking to another person or reschedule to a different event date.
5.1 Transfer to Another Person
You may transfer your booking to another person:
- Free of charge if done at least 48 hours before the event
- €10 administrative fee for transfers within 48 hours of the event
- The new attendee must meet event requirements (e.g., age restrictions)

5.2 Rescheduling to Another Date
You may reschedule to a different date for the same event type:
- Free rescheduling if done at least 7 days before the original event
- €15 administrative fee for rescheduling within 7 days
- Subject to availability of alternative dates
- Price difference applies if the new event is more expensive
- Rescheduling may only be done once per booking

6.1 Our Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to:
- Insufficient registrations (minimum attendee requirements not met)
- Facilitator illness or unavailability

- Other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
6.2 Your Options When We Cancel
If we cancel an event, you will receive:
- Full refund (100%) of your registration fee, OR
- Credit voucher for 110% of your payment (10% bonus) valid for 12 months, OR
- Free transfer to any other available event of equal or lesser value
6.3 Notification of Cancellation
We will notify you as soon as possible via email and phone if we need to cancel an event, typically:
- At least 48 hours before the event when possible
- Immediately in case of emergencies
7. Event Changes and Modifications
7.1 Minor Changes
We may make minor changes to events without affecting your refund rights:
- Change of venue (within same general location)
- Change of facilitator or instructor
- Minor adjustments to schedule or program
- Substitution of similar materials or refreshments
7.2 Significant Changes
If we make significant changes (substantial alteration of event content, major time change, different location area), you may:
- Accept the changes and attend the modified event, OR
- Request a full refund, OR
- Transfer to another available event
8. No-Show Policy
Important: If you do not attend an event and have not cancelled in advance, no refund will be provided.

- No refunds for failure to attend without prior cancellation
- No refunds for late arrival or early departure
- Emergency exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis (medical emergencies with documentation)
9. Partial Attendance
For multi-hour events or multi-day programs:
- No refunds for partial attendance

- All sales are final once the event begins
10. Weather and Travel Issues
10.1 Severe Weather
If severe weather prevents event attendance:
- If we cancel due to weather: full refund or rescheduling options
- If event proceeds but you cannot attend: standard cancellation policy applies
- We recommend travel insurance for international attendees

- Travel delays or cancellations
- Traffic or transportation issues
- Parking difficulties

- Refunds are calculated on the actual amount paid
- Promotional codes cannot be reused after refund
- Expired codes cannot be reinstated
